What Are Skin Peels?
Skin peels are a combination of acids, enzymes and granules, fortified with vitamins, to speed up your skin’s natural shedding process, whilst strengthening your skin.
No matter what your skin concerns, we have a peel that will support and re-energise your skin. From a no-downtime mild exfoliation to hydrate and strengthen your skin, to our intensive resurfacing peels used to combat breakouts, acne, scarring and sun damage.
Skin peels are not only the stepping stone to safely preparing your skin for our Specialised Treatments but as stand alone treatments will achieve and maintain your skin goals quickly.

- Can I Have Other Treatments To Supercharge My Results?
-
Absolutely. Skin Peels can only be successfully performed when the treatment area is first prepared with our cosmeceutical products that speed up the cellular turnover and in turn improve the healthy functioning of your skin. Your dermal therapist will tailor a skin journey that will not only prepare your skin, but maximise your outcomes so you start seeing results immediately.

- What Do Skin Peels Feel Like?
-
Whereas Microdermabrasion and granular scrubs feel scratchy, face peels can feel either itchy, more common with AHA based peels or hot and spicy, like chilli has been rubbed across your skin, more commonly experienced with salicylic and retinol based peels. These sensations dissipate within 3 to 10 minutes. Our stronger Skin Peels will create more heat, itching and pinkness and therefore an intense sensation on the skin.
Our Cryo-Jet cold air machine can be utilised to provide relief from all sensations.
- Are Skin Peels Safe During Pregnancy?
-
All Skin Peels are contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. As we have many modalities to treat your skin throughout your pregnancy we advise to avoid skin peels and opt for a customised Advanced Facial which may include any of the following add-on treatments; enzymes, extractions, a customised antioxidant infusion, cold therapy mask, extra massage time or even to include your neck or decolletage for an ultimate immersive facial experience.
