- Do I Need A Skin Check?

At The Aesthetic Lounge your skin’s safety is our highest priority and why we always recommend you have a skin check every 12 months. This is for you to stay up-to-date with any skin changes you may have had and to allow for safe treatments.
However if this is your first visit to the clinic, you must provide a current skin check clearance letter, our clients recommend Mole Map Brighton.
- Can I Have Other Treatments To Supercharge My Results?

Laser Facials are a mild introductory treatment to light based treatments, that provide less downtime than the stronger Laser and IPL Rejuvenation treatments we offer, as they include an exfoliation and mask. However our IPL and Laser Rejuvenation treatments offer noticeably rapid results in comparison.
- How Much Downtime Can I Expect From A Laser Facial?

As our Laser Facials are designed as an introductory and maintenance treatment, they typically do not produce down-time. It is common for your skin to have a healthy, radiant and slightly flushed glow for several hours after your treatment. We highly recommend including a Cold Therapy Mask to rapidly calm and soothe your skin.
- How Often Can I Have Laser Facials?

Once your skin is sufficiently prepared with our prescribed skincare a series of Laser Facials are ideally performed at fortnightly intervals to kick start your skin.

- What Will My Skin Look Like Immediately After A Laser Facial?

Most clients leave with a healthy and flushed complexion. However, temporary side effects may include; mild skin sensitivity, redness, swelling, heat and bronzing.
- Do I Need A Test Patch?

Test patches allow our therapists to test the maximum and safe settings which means you will achieve your end result much quicker and more effectively. If a test patch is required, this will be provided during your consultation or prior to your first treatment at no extra charge.
Sometimes if it has been longer than 6 months or you have been exposed to the sun or had any recent medical changes you will be required to re test patch for an additional fee.
